Prague 7: Vystaviste プラハ7区：ビスタビシチェ

For taking my starting number of the Prague Marathon, I went Vystaviste for the first time. I don't know nothing about the historical back ground or anything, but I fond it's pretty nice building.

プラハマラソンのスターティングナンバー（ゼッケン）を取りにビスタビシチェへ。初めて中に入った。写真を幾つか撮ったので。

Ramen? ラーメン？

My wife often cooks soup with whole chicken with bone on. Carrot, onion, parsley root, and/or any other root vegetable go in without being cut in pieces. It's boiled long time, so gets totally soft anyways. I think this type of soup is from Moravia? Well, could be anywhere... I know.. Anyways, I like the soup a lot.

The other day, as the taste of the soup reminded me "Shio Ramen's soup" I put noodle (well, pasta...) into and tried home made noodles.

Result: I enjoyed and liked it even it's not really Ramen...

モラビアスタイルのスープが塩ラーメンのスープに似た感じだったんでパスタでラーメン風に食べてみた。

結果：ラーメンとは言えないけれど楽しく美味しく頂けた。

Czech Beer: Gambrinus チェコビール：ガンバリヌス

Very good beer. This is the one of best selling one in Czech.

チェコで一番売れているビールの一つ。とても美味しい。

German White Beer: ERDINGER ドイツの白ビール：エルディンガー

I had it for the first time. I'll have it again as I liked it a lot. I don't know much about white beer, and I only know Hoegaarden from Belgium, but this one taste similar. (Of course... they both are white beer kind, but)

初めて飲んだんだけれど、美味しいのでまた飲むと思う。他の白ビールはベルギーのHoegaarden（ヒューガルデン。オランダ語で正しくはフーハールデンと読む）しか知らないのだけれど、これと味は似ている。

Slovak Beer: Zlaty Bazant スロバキアビール：ズラティー・バジャント

Slovak blond beer. Good beer. Alcohol is 5%, but feels much lower as less after taste.

スロバキアのビール。あっさりした味だが、アルコールは５％と若干高め。美味しい。

Czech Beer: Mestan チェコビール：ミェシュティアン

Good beer. Alcohol is lower, 3.2%, so might go good in the hot summer day.

普通に美味しい。アルコール3.2%と若干低めで夏の暑い日の方が合う感じ。

Indoor lawn mowing 室内で芝刈り

My son brought back grass from the kindergarten he goes.
It’s part of the class excise. (well… just paint pot, seed it, and poring water)
Now, I can indoor lawn mow.

I miss Michigan life (lawn mow every week or more), so it’s nice to remember the smell.

息子が幼稚園から草を持って帰ってきた。芝生のよう。
クラスで植木鉢に絵を描き、種をまき、水をやるだけなのだが、教育の一環になってるらしい。。
なので今、部屋の中に芝生があり、はさみで芝刈りをしている。

小さいけれど刈るとちゃんと芝生のにおいがします。

ミシガンの生活が懐かしい。（多いときは１週間に１度かそれ以上芝刈りが必要）

Czech Beer: BREZNAK チェコビール：ブルジェニャーク

Bit bitter. Might go good with certain food that matches with bitter thing. Colleague of mine advised me that it's from Usti and he has a friend working for the company. He offers for the plant tour. I might take someday.

ちょっと苦め。苦いのとあう食べものなら良いかも。ウスティーに住んでいる同僚が、彼の友達がこのビール工場で働いてると教えてくれた。機会があれば工場見学しようとのお誘い。いつか行きたいと思う。

Balance バランス

When we are in dirk place, little light becomes much more strong.

暗い所から見ると、日常の光がとても眩しく明るく見える。

Old Car Fun

The iron toy car, very rusty and junk condition, was used in North Bohemia’s country side around 1970. This child vehicle was found in an attic of old house that recently was cleaned.

I immediately came up with an idea for restoring / overhauling, how nice it would be “if”…”if”… type of day dream.

I don’t know how deeply we’ll do the “restore / overhaul”, but certainly it’ll be fun.

By looking at it, my brain reacted;

- Front engine (pedal) Rear Drive! = Car

- Today’s nice quality controlled mass produced plastic products can not beat this old metal junk vehicle.

- Master card’s commercial: Rust remover, $2, Prototype spare parts material, $40, Adults and Children smile when the vehicle’s restored (or falls in apart) = Priceless

Well, we dream therefore we are.

写真はチェコの北ボヘミア地方で1970年頃に使われていたブリキ製の子供用の車。古い家の屋根裏部屋の大掃除中に出てきて、久しぶりに日の目を。

「これどうしようね？」と仲間で話し、「もし・・・なら」と想像が膨らみ夢をみた。

レストアのレベルにもよるが、確実に楽しい。

この車を見ていて下の様な事を思った。

・　FR。フロントエンジン（ペダル）リアドライブ。これこそ車！！

・　現在の品質管理された大量生産品では太刀打ちできない良さがこのぼろ車にはある。

・　アメリカのクレジットカード会社のマスターカードの宣伝（日本にある？）
さび取り液＝2ドル。プロトタイプ用の材料＝40ドル。大人と子供が一緒に笑う時間＝値段がつけられない（金では買えない）

MTB (Mountain Bike) マウンテンバイク

Recently, MTB is added on my hobby list. Although it’s 17 years old antique vehicle, after investing 6,000czk, most of the parts were changed except frame, handle bar, and saddle, I’m quite confident riding far from home. Yesterday, I made 57km, 3 hour round trip by the bank of Vltava. (Moldau, river that go through Prague)

The bike is not really designed for serious off road condition. The steel frame is rather thin and no shock absorbers, but hard tail and folk. Anyway, it's good enough for beginners like me. I can simply lower the air pressure in the tire when I go for off road. It's simple and amateur solution, but works good on my bike.

Yesterday, I did not take any photo while riding (as it was part of my Prague Marathon stamina training and did not stop for 3h!) but next time, it'll be nice to stop and take some photo and keep for my record here.

最近MTB（マウンテンバイク）にはまりつつある。17年前のMTB。6000チェココルナ（約3万円）つぎ込みフレームとハンドル、サドル以外の部品を新調したので、普通に走る分に関しては遠距離でも不安は感じない。昨日モルダウ川沿いを3時間かけて57km走ったが、調子は良い。

フレームが細いクロモリのリジットタイプで弱そう。あまり本格的なオフロードは走れないけれど、私の様なビギナーには丁度良い。若干のオフロードコンディションへはタイヤの空気を少し抜く事で随分走れるようになるし。

昨日のブルタバ沿いは走る事だけに集中していたので写真を撮るなど考えなかったのだが、次回は少しゆるくバイクと共にチェコの風景を撮ってみても楽しいかもしれないと思った
