When Obama was in Prague オバマがプラハに来た日

Early in this month, when Obama came to visit Prague, Czech Republic, Helicopter was in the air. Lots of police and traffic control.

今月初めにオバマ大統領がプラハへ来たのですが、そのときの写真です。空にはヘリコプターが常時パトロール。交通規制も。

The frog in the well knows nothing of the great ocean. 井の中の蛙、大海を知らず

“The frog in the well knows nothing of the great ocean” is a Japan origin saying.

When I saw the frog in the photo, I thought that there are many frogs that don’t know much about the well they grew up.

Also they know only a very tiny bit of the ocean.

「井の中の蛙、大海を知らず」は“The frog in the well knows nothing of the great ocean”と訳されたりしていますが、日本発祥の言い回しです。

写真の蛙を見て、沢山の蛙は大海に出てますが、初めに居た井戸を知らない蛙も沢山居ると思いました。

それに大海に出ても、その本当に一部分しか知らない。

Prague Half Marathon プラハハーフマラソン

前日にゼッケンを取りに。Day before the race, taking starting number.



当日は歩いてスターティングまで。レトナ公園から。On the race day, walking to the starting.View from Letna.



2時間4分で。遅いんですが、去年より速く走れました。19kmぐらいで右の膝が壊れたので悔しかったのですが1~2km歩いてしまったので、完走の目標は達成できず。

Ran in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Slow, but better result than last year. Around 19km, my right knee started to hurt seriously, so I walked. My target "Run whole way" was not achieved.

Czech Beer: Branik チェコビール：ブラニック

Taste of the beer you have could be influenced a lot from atmosphere and your condition, but I don't enjoy much this beer. Somehow I feel the aftertaste is not my cup of beer. If I get use to it, might be good, but for now, I don't prefer it.

ビールの味も、飲む時の雰囲気や体調で左右されますが、これはあまり美味しいと感じませんでした。慣れれば良いのかも知れませんが、なんというかアフターテイストで癖のある匂いが鼻にくる感じ。と、全然紹介になってませんが、個人的にはお勧めしません。

Czech Beer: Klasik チェコビール：クラシック

For me, it's a normal beer. Bit watery to me, so might be good to make ice cold and have it in the hot summer day/night.

普通のビールですが、ちょっとコクなど薄い感じ。暑い日にキンキンに冷やして飲むのが良さそう。

Foolproof needed here.. ポカヨケの需要

Flash memory didn't work. I rebooted. It didn't work. I unplugged. I figured.

Foolproof can be applied for me.

フラッシュメモリーが認識しないので、再起動した。また認識されない。何だと思って抜いて見て判った。

ポカヨケ付いてても良いなと思った。

それだけ。

Czech Beer: Primus チェコビール：プリムス

I don't recommend this one. It's pretty cheap, something like 7czk or so, but it's not good.

これはお勧めしません。安いんですが。（7コルナぐらい）

Czech Beer: Pardar チェコビール：パルダール

Nice label. Good normal Czech beer, for me.

ラベルが素敵。普通の美味しいチェコビール。

I really don't like the adds on the building like that, but the contents are OK.

ビルを覆う大きな広告は大嫌いなんですが、この広告の中身は好きなので一枚。

Czech beer:Kozel チェコビール「コゼル」

Good beer. Dirk Kozel's good, but blond's OK too.

コゼルの黒ビールは好きで良く飲むんですが、ブロンドも美味しいです。
