通勤に4時間も掛かる=退屈＝写真やビデオ撮って暇つぶし＝つまらない

First snow 2010 年の初雪

First snow in this Winter. 初雪はいつも心が踊る。（積もるレベル）
The first one always cheer me up.



Not much for big snowman, but enough for remembering the feeling of not feeling fingers by touching the snow so long time by bare fingers. FUN!!
それほど積もらなかったが、小さな雪だるまには十分。それよりも、指がかじかんで動きが鈍くなる感覚を思い出すには十分な量が積もった。



Friction level is near ice skate link. 靴底とタイルの摩擦係数はスケートリンク並み。（若干溶けているからだろうか）



Used Seaweed for eyes and others. Sushi snowman. Oops, I should have used Wasabi.. so I could say that..
海苔で目などをつけた。寿司だるま。しまった・・ワサビも使えばよかったのにと今これ書いてて気がついた。

Nice looking building just was build next to the old house I used to live when I first came to Prague. Big change in last 8 years. Up and down :-)

なんてこと無い風景。頭が疲れてると風景が綺麗に見える。信号待ちでそんな風に思ったんで一枚。

25年ぶりぐらい。風に乗る感じを思い出せた。It's been some 25 years since last I flied kite. It reminded me the feeling of riding wind. Thank you my friend!

Japanese Stratocaster Copy: Tokai guitar maintenance Part 2

Some 10 years ago, sometimes in the mid-night, I've removed clear coat and paint, but not the surfacer layer. Now, I'm reaching to the grain of the wood. Surfacer layer's pretty hard.

10年ぐらい前の真夜中にふと思い立ってギターのペイント層をサンドペーパーで剥いだ。かなり時間が掛かった事を覚えているけれど、サーフェサーは面倒だったので木目までは削らなかった。今回はオイルフィニッシュが目的なんで木目まで。



When sanding, I remembered many nice things from Michigan and damn... I forgot that frictional heat could burn the finger. My thumbs up with water blister..

結構骨が折れるが、サンディングしていると頭は空っぽで昔の事をぼんやり思い出していた。10年前にサンドペーパーの摩擦熱で親指に水膨れが出来た事も思い出せた。

So I can remember how it used to look like.
あとで思い出せる為に撮る事にした。



Rusty.. Result of no maintenance / cleaning for 20 years.
錆び。メンテや掃除など20年してなかった。



Parts. 部品。



I won't touch the coil or electric component this time.
コイルや配線など今回は触らないつもり。



Cut  one wire for better maintenance in the future. Planning to add removable connector.
将来メンテしやすいようひとつ配線カット。コネクタ付ける予定。



Shoulder band hook.
ショルダーの帯留める金具。ネジなくしたり忘れないように。



Insulating paint to be applied on, so took the photo for some serial number.
I'm sure I won't need it anyways.
絶縁塗料塗るので二度と見れなくなるんで一枚。

Rainbow and magic of luck 虹

Czech Friend of mine told me that Czechs don't talk about rainbow when it's there. Reason is that good luck will be gone when you mention about it. It's cheesy, but in the way, I like the custom.
